Finnish melodic metal quintet SONATA ARCTICA have launched the first of two track-by-track commentaries where band members shed insight on the creation of the first five songs on Pariah’s Child, SONATA ARCTICA’s eighth studio album due out in North America on April 1st.

Pariah’s Child was recorded and produced by SONATA ARCTICA at Studio 57 in Alaveteli, Finland. The mix was done by the band’s new bass player, Pasi Kauppinen.

Celebrating their 15th year in existence as a recording artist, the 33-show North American leg of SONATA’s “Pariah's Child World Tour” launches this fall in Teaneck, New Jersey on September 3rd, hits nine Canadian cities, then wraps up in Tampa, Florida on October 15th. Dutch symphonic metallers DELAIN will be direct support; XANDRIA from Germany will open each night.
