Acid rockers SCORPION CHILD – who recently toured with CLUTCH and performed at this year’s Rock On The Range and Rocklahoma festivals - have just confirmed their addition to this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. The five-piece pride of Austin, Texas will be headlining the Sumerian Stage.

Understandably, the band’s previously announced headlining solo dates in July have been cancelled.

Opening and closing with the sound of cicadas, the band’s self-titled debut release – described by Black as “a sonic landscape of a 24-hour period” - hits North America on June 25th and was produced, recorded with analog technology, and arranged by Chris “Frenchie” Smith (The Answer, Jet, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, The Toadies, Dax Riggs).
