Relentless touring and soul-soaring live performances saturated with fist-pumping anthems that celebrate the triumph of the human spirit have long been synonymous with Sweden’s epic metal specialists SABATON. Their spine-tingling experiences in Poland – the country that has adopted them as honorary citizens – is now captured on Swedish Empire Live, SABATON’s live DVD/CD due out in North America on October 1st.
With the largest live production in the history of the band and filmed in front of 600,000+ enthusiastic fans at their headlining festival appearance at Poland’s Woodstock Festival in 2012, you will experience for yourself why SABATON was selected to open for IRON MAIDEN on their European stadium run this July and why they’re one of the most popular up-and-coming bands in heavy metal.
