Forget everything you thought you knew, because FOLLOW THE CIPHER are ready to herald in a new musical era and crash through the many dimensions of our universe to steal your breath. Despite their stylistic diversity, the Swedish metal act from Falun creates a very cohesive ambience, mixing a first class sound with magical charisma, an innovative concept, live presence and an incredibly talented singer.
Today, FOLLOW THE CIPHER reveal the cover artwork for their self-titled debut, which will be out on May, 11 on Nuclear Blast. Guitarist and founder Ken Kängström commented:
"We were privileged to have the amazingly multi-talented Chris Rörland (SABATON) doing the artwork. Myself and Chris sat for many hours together with this project, and it was a very easy process getting to where we wanted thanks to Chris’ ability to exactly read our minds and know what we were going for. We decided to go for a black/red colour theme along side a more serious approach towards the ‚war zone’ of a destroyed future world. This fits in with the sorrowful and aggressive themes of the whole album, and also the vocal anger Linda displays in some of the songs. It all melts together in our view, and we are more than pleased with this piece of art."
