BLACK STAR RIDERS: NEW ALBUM ARTWORK REVEALED

“It’s a bit of a continuation from All Hell Breaks Loose…. people will see the link. It’s very rock ‘n’ roll,” states BLACK STAR RIDERS vocalist & songwriter Ricky Warwick about the artwork for the band’s sophomore album The Killer Instinct, due out in North America in early 2015 on Nuclear Blast Entertainment. After touring the globe in support of their world-acclaimed 2013 debut album All Hell Breaks Loose, the band entered the studio in Nashville, Tennessee this past October to record their second release with heralded producer Nick Raskulinecz (RUSH, FOO FIGHTERS, ALICE IN CHAINS, MASTODON). The result is a rich collection of story-based tracks (“Soldierstown,” “Finest Hour,” “Blindsided,” “Sex, Guns & Gasoline”) rooted in master craftsman performances by vocalist Ricky Warwick, guitarist Damon Johnson, guitarist Scott Gorham, drummer Jimmy DeGrasso, and bassist Robbie Crane. The North American 2-CD digi-pak version of The Killer Instinct will include two bonus tracks and acoustic versions of four album tracks. The track listing is: 01. The Killer Instinct 02.
