Need a new extreme cardio workout? Ditch the treadmills & stationary bikes and get thyself to the next SPEAKING THE KING’S show!
Lucky for us all, these Orange County rock / post-hardcore locals - infamous for their relentless on-stage physicality that tests the lung capacity of any audience & hailed as “a solid example of well-executed melodic metalcore” by RockSound Magazine – have just confirmed their appearance on this year’s Rock The Boat Music Festival at the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
On Saturday, September 13th beginning at 11 a.m. and raging head-first with non-stop intensity for fourteen hours, this 8-stage, all-ages music festival will test your endurance and ship you into shape pronto. Gourmet food trucks will be on-site to fuel your stamina. Is running up & down all day between the three decks of an historic ocean liner something you can handle? If you’ve been to a STK show before, you’re obviously already in shape.
Visit the Rock The Boat homepage at http://rocktheboatlb.com for the full band listing. The Queen Mary is located at 1126 Queens Highway in Long Beach, California. The adventure beings at 11 a.m. Click on the web flyer below for the pre-sale ticket link.

Formed in 2011 by guitarists Justin Bock & Mike Entin and drummer Will Peacock, SPEAKING THE KING’S demos quickly captured the attention of A Day To Remember producer, songwriter, and former guitarist TOM DENNEY (Pierce The Veil, Secrets), who ushered the band – plus new vocalist Bobby Burap - into his Florida-based studio to record their first arsenal of music, which became the band’s Here To Stay EP. STK has shared stages with We Came As Romans, Bleeding Through, Winds Of Plague, Of Mice & Men, iwrestledabearonce, Darkest Hour, Blessthefall, Secrets, Close To Home, and Monsters Scare You.
