The song comes from the band’s Here To Stay EP debut, released this past July.
“These shows were some of the most fun we've had as a band,” state SPEAKING THE KING’S members. “We always have a good time sharing the stage with our friends in Secrets, and we were super grateful for the opportunity to do so again. The turnouts at the shows - and the energy of the crowd - were amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. Our video director, Robert Main, did an amazing job capturing the feel our live set: every ounce of heart and all the energy we put in to each show is right there. A fellow musician and friend throughout the years, he recently ventured into film. We were stoked to work with him on this and we love what he did with the video.”
SPEAKING THE KING’S have tapped Steve Evetts (EVERY TIME I DIE, THE WONDER YEARS, DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, ARCHITECTS) as the producer for their full-length debut album, due out on Nuclear Blast in 2014.
Formed during the winter of 2011 by guitarists Justin Bock & Mike Entin and drummer Will Peacock, vocalist Bobby Burap joined the ranks to round out the line-up. The band has shared stages with We Came As Romans, Bleeding Through, Winds Of Plague, Of Mice & Men, iwrestledabearonce, Darkest Hour, blessthefall, Secrets, and Close To Home - among many others.
