Guitarists Andy Sneap and Kev Bower from British metal pioneers HELL are currently taking part in a worthy cause, to raise money for Nordoff Robbins, the Teenage Cancer Trust and Childline – three fantastic UK charities who do great work for people less fortunate than many of us. The guys are cycling 259km – yes, 259km - from London to the Download Festival in the UK, participating in the ‘Heavy Metal Truants’ annual heavy metal charity bicycle ride. One of the main initiators of this fundraising project was Rod Smallwood (IRON MAIDEN’s legendary manager) who will also be taking part in the ride; http://www.heavymetaltruants.com/
To raise even more money for this, starting tomorrow at 19.00CET/18.00UK, HELL will be selling several unique pieces from their history, including what might be the world's LAST THREE mint unplayed copies of their original 1983 'Save Us' 7" vinyl. The band have also produced a limited edition T-shirt, and will also be selling many small pocket-money items in the sale starting at just GBP £1.00.
You can hit the special sale merch site by visiting www.facebook.com/hellofficial from 19.00CET/18.00UK tomorrow. But be quick – many of these items are one-offs, and demand is going to be high.
