Are you an ambitious guitar player whose dream is to look over the shoulder of one of the leading contemporary metal guitarists, as well as receiving personal advice from him? Then this is the right event for you! On Sunday, April 10th, 2016, the renowned Rhenish School Of Music in Cologne in cooperation with the iconic club Underground is offering ambitious metal guitarists the possibility to receive a stylistic final touch from ALMANAC and former RAGE guitarist Victor Smolski in the form of a "Rock & Metal Guitar" workshop!
Within the frame of an intensive full-day workshop (12pm - 8pm), Victor will be presenting the most important style elements of the rock and metal guitar. You will learn alternate pickings, multifinger tappings, sweep pickings and the quick synchronisation of the left and the right hand. Harmony, rhythm, song arrangement and studio secrets will be important topics covered too.

This event will take place in the Underground club in Cologne. The organiser, the Rhenish School Of Music, is one of the most established schools of music in Germany, offering challenging courses in classical music, dancing, acting and jazz. The "Rock & Metal Guitar" workshop with Victor Smolski will be the beginning stages for the setting up of a rock & metal department.

The attendance is limited to 30 active participants and will cost a fee of 50,00 €. Every active participant has to bring their own instrument. Furthermore, passive spectators can enrol themselves for a duty of 30,00 € too.
